About This Study

This qualitative study evaluates experiences of heart and kidney care among women with diabetes. The primary objective is to identify barriers, supports, and care needs related to cardiovascular and kidney health, and to better understand how healthcare delivery can be optimized for this population. Participants will complete a one-time semi-structured interview with a trained member of the research team. Interviews may be conducted in person, by phone, or virtually and will explore experiences with diabetes care, management of heart and kidney health, and perspectives on improving care delivery. Interviews will be recorded and transcribed for analysis, and clinical context may be collected where relevant to support interpretation of findings.
